SOLD! Red Velvet BELLA $725

Red Bella costume in good condition. Bought this from another dancer but the skirt unfortunately isn't a good fit. I would have kept this if I didn't have to dance in it. My hips could hold the skirt but it is too loose to dance in.

Lots of crystals and beautiful cut outs.

Bra: Cup C, per cup measurement- height is 6" and width is 7.75", it is unpadded and the cup is deep.

Previous owner has cut the strap and sewn into 2 straps for bra. The excess straps will be provided.

Skirt and Hips: Upper hip fits 35-36" ( I am a 33-34" and I can fit my hand in)/ lower hip should fit up to 40" ( I am 37-38" and there is more room). Velvet gives some stretch.

Measuring the upper band using tape is about 33"- and I thought it should fit my 33-34" upper hip but it is loose.

Length of skirt: 36.5-37" ( kind of hard to measure)

Comes with head band and arm band and veil.

This Bella has lots and lots of cystals, very sparkly.

I bought this Bella used from a belly dancer. A few sequins seemed to have faded in colour but it does not affect the overall visability. There is a very faded dirt mark on the skirt- can be removed by washing but I didn't bother since it isn't very obvious.

The costumes isn't really my size but I can't resist and still bought it. I have made amendments to bring the cups closer together. I intend to lengthen the skirt by adding a layer of 2" ruffles but decided that I should just sell it instead cause I seemed to have lost some weight and the hips is a little loose. I don't wish to remove any crystals on the hip line to adjust.

Measurements:

Bra: Cup B/C , 8" width and 6" height without padding. Underbust is 30" max.

Skirt: measures 33" unstretched upper hip. My upper hip is 34" and I feel that this would fit a 35" better. My lower hip is 37" and it can stretched to 38" Length is 36". It reaches my ankle only and I am 5'9".

Comes with 2 head band, 2 arm bands, 1 necklace

I have sewn the cups closer.

I would have kept this for myself if not the the size that run a tad too small. This belongs to a friend who had this tailored for her troupe for an event last year. Since the passing of the event, she has not worn it and had moved on to new costumes. Condition is very well kept and comes with spare parts.

Bra: Cup A/B, currently padded. Cup measures 6" across and 6" down. Underbust is 29"

Shoulder strap: 16" each

Hip belt: set at 33" and you can extend to 34" at most. Nothing more.

Skirt: Opaque satin single layer, elastic band hence fits all sizes. Length is 36"

Hair Band: 22.5"

2 armband: 10" each

This comes with 2 extra strips of the diamond patterns and 2 bags of beads if you want to make adjustments.

I have no intention of going back to dance.

However, after 4 months of idling, I was roped into the dance circle once again. Honestly, I am lukewarm about it, 4 years of serious dancing left me very burnt out and physically weak with injuries. And you can say my social life was non-existence.

A friend told me, "This is the most sensible decision you have ever made. You looked like you were holding 2 jobs."

And he was right to say that.

Regardless, I am finally making a gradual return through persuasion from dance enthusiasts. I am not sure if this is what I really want to do again but, I am just giving it another go and maybe I'll start dancing towards year end.

This time round, I am taking it slow.
